Art: International Women’s Day and National Women’s Month in March

MARCH is a month with a focus on women. International Women’s Day on March 8th, Mother’s Day on March 11th and, of course, it’s Women’s History Month. What’s Hot London? magazine’s Eddie Saint-Jean interviewed a number of women artists about their work. All recently exhibited at the Espacio Gallery, Bethnal Green. This included the Denise Wyllie and Claire O’ Hagan partnership (below) known as Wyllie O Hagan, who previewed their textile artwork Whitework on International Women’s Day. The preview night included an eponymous book launch and signing.
