Get Inspired to Join a London Run Club

Whether you’re losing weight for your summer hols, just after general fitness or a potential Mo Farah there are many run clubs you can commit to for jogging stints around the capital. The distances vary from 1 mile to 10k and with no cap on experience. So beginners get out those running shoes because regardless of whether you’re from north, south, east, or west London there’s a club near you. And to get you started here are a few!

North London

Mornington Chasers: Tuesday 7.00pm Talacre Sports Centre, Dalby Street, London NW5 3AF.

Runners Need Camden Run Club: Wednesday 7pm. They meet up at the Runners Need store, 34 Parkway, Camden Town, London NW1 7AH.

East London

Greengate Runners: Tuesday 6.15pm at the Greenway entrance, Balaam Street, Plaistow, E14.

Barking Road Runners: Tuesday 6:45pm at the Jim Peters Stadium in Mayesbrook Park, and Thursday 6.45pm at the Jo Richardson, Gale Street, Dagenham, Essex, RM9 4UN

South London

Clapham Pioneers: Tuesday 7.15pm, Wingate Square, Clapham Old Town, SW4

Crystal Palace Fun Runners: 7.20pm Mondays (beginners night). Crystal Palace National Sports Centre.

West London

Ealing Eagles Running Club: Beginners sessions Wednesdays 6.30pm and Thursdays 10am. If you’re a more experienced runner there ‘s the Wednesday Run Club 7.30pm – 3 miles or 5 miles (8km) around Ealing. Meeting at various locations in Ealing Green.

Asics Running Club: Monday 6.30pm. They meet outside Asics Oxford Street store, 527 Oxford St, Mayfair, London W1C 2QL and running in Hyde Park.
