The Costermonger’s Pearly Harvest Festival was celebrated at the Guildhall this Sunday September 27 and saw performances by May Pole dancers, Chingford Morrisons, Pandemonium Drummers of the London Olympics 2012 fame and Isle of Sheppey. The festival ended with a fitting parade marching out on the streets. Kings & Queens wearing pearl studded outfits and some others in Hats, Donkeys and St Bernard’s pulling carts of milk, grocery and flowers, vintage cars and brass bands were all a sight to behold.
